I often use the same types of imagery and subject matter found in my painting. So, you might find a pie-woman or girl, an elf, landscapes, abstracts, etc. It is my intention to have you the viewer come away feeling uplifted, more positive and more at peace within yourself. My tools are beautiful fabrics and sometimes cloth I design myself using dyes, paints, resist and printing techniques; rich colorful threads, and a variety of embellishments.<br /><br />I thank my sister who lives and quilts in Arizona for her constantly nudging me for years toward taking my quilting seriously by providing me with machines, tools, materials and loving support as she encouraged me to pull my fiber art skills and experiences together through quilting arts.<br /><br /><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;;"></span>I make both art quilts for wall hanging and quilts for home use. My fiber stash contains fabrics I've been collecting since the 70's, new fun batiks, cottons, silks and other fibers. My fiber work ranges from the miniature - 24" X 24" and smaller, including the ATC - Artist Trading Cards (only for trading) at 2 1/2" X 3 1/2 " through larger works. My art quilts prices begin at $150.<br /><br />I work well with others , and enjoy taking your ideas and bringing them to life!
